Louisiana owns more than its share of great writers, as well as being the setting for fabulous books, plays and films. New Orleans alone could fill a literary encyclopedia. There are wonderful authors scattered throughout the Bayou State, from Shreveport to Grand Isle, from Monroe to Holly Beach, and they write in all the genres.
